Group characteristics

Prostrate or sprawling herbaceous shrub with deeply lobed adult leaves. Stem prickles and branchlet prickles straight, widened at base. Stellate hairs lacking. Inflorescences not branched. Flowers bisexual, all of similar size, 5-merous, mauve. Calyx with prickles. Corolla lobes without hairs on inner face. Stamens with anthers all of similar size. Ovary glabrous. Mature fruits brown or yellow, dry, 8-11 mm diameter; calyx lobes less than half length of  mature fruit.

Distribution

1 species endemic in Queensland.
